In an amazing stride toward nurturing inclusivity and personalised experiences, Active Manningham has adopted Cerge at Aquarena.
This award-winning application empowers people with disability to proactively communicate their service preferences and requirements within 60 minutes of them visiting the facility, thereby eliminating social barriers, worries, or anxieties when engaging in community activities making for a more inclusive experience when visiting Aquarena.
Cerge was founded to answer the question ‘Can I obtain unrivalled customer service if the staff knew who I was, what I wanted and my likes and dislikes the moment I arrived?’
Cerge – a companion app; is a solution to empower people with disability. With a simple download and check-in process, users can effortlessly inform staff at Aquarena about requirements prior to their visit. This approach paves a way for a tailored and inclusive experience, ensuring each of our members feel valued and at ease from the moment they step into the facility.

The Visual Story can help people with sensory disability prepare for their visit, using detailed photos of the centre and descriptions of the sensory experiences likely to be encountered, including sights, sounds, smells and a feel of the experience.
