At Aquarena Aquatic & Leisure Centre, we offer licensed childcare services, approved by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. We welcome children from 6 weeks up to 9 years of age. Our qualified, warm, and welcoming childcare educators ensure a safe and nurturing environment for your little ones.
We encourage families to tour our childcare facilities to understand the environment better. For arranging this, kindly connect with our team at reception.

*Children can be booked into the childcare services for up to a maximum of 15 hours per week.

What you need to know
Forms are available online, or at the reception. The enrolment form needs to be completed and returned to the Child Care Captain a minimum of 5 business days prior to your first booking, along with ALL the following paperwork:
- Completed enrolment form with all sections fully completed
- Copy of current Immunisation History Statement available from your MyGov account
- Copy of any Current Management Plan/s (if required)
- Printed copy of any Current Court Order (if required)

All bookings for Child Care are via reception or the Child Care team, only after your Child Care enrolments forms have been approved by the Child Care Captain. An email confirmation will be sent to you when this has occurred.
Bookings can be made 7 days in advance.
We understand that at times you or your child can be unwell or unable to attend the centre, therefore we allow free cancellations up to 12 hours before your booked time.
Simply contact the centre to cancel your booking.
- Nappies, wipes, plastic bag for soiled nappies
- Snacks, water bottle and/or bottles & formula (nut free)
- Hat for outside
- Change of clothes
- Comfort toy
- Management plans (anaphylaxis, asthma etc.)
*Please label all items with your child’s name.
On your first visit you are welcome to stay in the Child Care space for as long as needed to settle your child into the new environment.
