On Saturday morning, we discovered water leaking into the main studio hallway. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the source of the leak was in the female change rooms. Our plumbers quickly responded and identified the issue as a burst seal in one of the pipes located in the roof above the aquatic female change room.
Immediate Actions Taken:
Builders promptly drained all the water pooling in the slabs and removed the bubbling from the roof caused by the water damage.
The builders completed the initial cleanup, advising that it would be best to let the area dry out further before determining the next steps.
Next Steps:
This week, an electrician will assess any potential electrical hazards, once the area has completely dried out.
The Aquatic female changerooms will remain closed until our builder has advised on the structural integrity of the roof.
Once the assessment is complete, we will ensure the area is safe, free from any water/electrical hazards before reopening the changeroom.
Alternative Arrangements:
During this period, members and patrons can use both the members’ and school changerooms. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologise for any disruption to your routine. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue. Thank you for your continued support and co-operation.
