In partnership with Manningham Council, we are pleased to announce a multistage plan to upgrade tiling throughout the entire indoor pool hall. The first stage of this upgrade will focus on replacing the tiles surrounding the Warm Water Pool.
This upgrade is required due to the tiles ageing over time. The works will improve safety, reliability, and the overall look and feel of the space, creating a better experience for all members and patrons.
To complete these works, areas tiles across the Warm Water Pool area will be progressively removed and replaced between Monday 12 January to Tuesday 10 February 2026.
What is being upgraded?
- The existing tiles around the Warm Water Pool will be fully removed and replaced.
What to Expect during the refurbishment period:
- To ensure we can keep the Warm Water Pool Open during the upgrade, a lot of the work will be completed at night and in stages. Patrons might experience some low-level noise during the day. Louder work will be carried out overnight when the centre is closed.
- Hoarding will be erected around the areas of tiles being replaced.
- The Steam Room will be closed for the duration of the works to ensure the safety of members and contractors.
- As the tiles in the change cubicles and shower station next to the Warm Water Pool will be replaced, these areas will be closed for a period of time.
- All other Aquarena facilities will continue to operate as normal.
- Several of the accessible parking spaces near the main entrance will be closed during this time. Please view the FAQs for details on which parking bays are affected.
We appreciate your understanding as we complete this upgrade and look forward to sharing the refreshed space with you!!
