Active Manningham partners with the Doncaster All Abilities Basketball (DAAB) competition, which is one of the most inclusive and successful basketball programs in Australia. For over two decades, this program has been an avenue for community engagement and personal growth for individuals with disabilities. With a steadfast focus on creating an environment that promotes social inclusion, fun, and support, DAAB has flourished into a robust 38 team competition with over 330 participants across seven divisions.
Participating in basketball allows individuals to develop essential life skills, boost confidence, foster new friendships, and contribute to teamwork.
In partnership with the Doncaster and Districts Netball Association, Templestowe Leisure Centre Stadium takes pride in being the home of All Abilities Netball. The program, crafted for all abilities, is a unique opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in netball, build friendships, and participate in a supportive community
Sessions kick off with a warm-up and skills-building phase, which then lead into a game.
