Over the past 12 months, your support has helped us continue improving the experience across the centre, including the launch of our new Customer Portal as well as the AM Connect app for easier membership management and access to tailored gym programs, the installation of new gym floor lockers for added convenience and security, and facility upgrades such as new shower partitions and tile improvements around the warm water pool to enhance both the appearance and safety of these spaces. As with many facilities, Aquarena continues to experience increasing operating costs across utilities, maintenance, staffing, equipment, and facility operations. This annual adjustment helps ensure we can continue to provide high-quality programs, services, facilities, and experiences for our members both now and into the future.
Since our last membership price review, we have continued to invest in both our facilities and services. This has included
- upgrades to the steam room
- new tiling and changerooms around the Warm Water Pool area
- the installation of new lockers within the gym
- even more Group Fitness classes on the timetable, the biggest schedule we’ve ever offered!
- refreshed our Reformer Pilates Studio including 2 new beds
- and behind the scenes, we completed significant plant room upgrades and replacements to help ensure the ongoing operation and reliability of our indoor pools.
We are also currently creating a new café space within the Aquarena reception area, providing a welcoming place for members and visitors to relax, and build meaning connections over a coffee before or after their visit.
In addition to these facility improvements, we have introduced a new online Customer portal to improve accessibility and enhance the customer experience, while also delivering more Group Fitness classes than ever before.
These improvements, together with our ongoing redevelopment project, demonstrate our commitment to ensuring Aquarena remains a modern, sustainable and high-quality health, fitness and aquatic facility that can serve the Manningham community for years to come.
While every effort has been made to minimise the cost for our members and guests, operating facilities such as Aquarena comes at a considerable expense, and a small annual increase is necessary so that we can continue to provide high quality products and services to you.
Your fortnightly membership fee will be increasing from Thursday 2 July 2026 in line with Clause 16 of our Terms and Conditions and as per the table below:
