Active Manningham believe in fostering a healthy and positive environment, not just for our patrons and members but also for our incredible team members. One shining example of this is Perri, who has been a dedicated and joyful member of our café team from even before Aligned Leisure took over.
When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Perri lights up. “I love helping people here, and working with the team,” she shares. “It makes me a better person.” For Perri, each day at work brings a new opportunity to connect with the people in the community. “Serving Coffees to people and chatting about the beautiful sunny day is something I love doing”.
Working at Active Manningham has also been an important part of Perri’s personal growth. Being a part of the team, she has gained skills and confidence. *”I’ve learned to be patient and the importance of safety.” She is proud of her achievements and values the support she receives from her colleagues, who are always there to encourage her.
At the heart of Perri’s experience is the sense of belonging and positivity that Active Manningham cultivates. The café is more than just a place to work, it’s a community where she feels empowered. “Perri is a bright, bubbly personality, hard worker and we could not imagine the cafe without her” says Georgia our Cafe Captain.
