What an incredible result from our recent community event. Thanks to the generosity of our participants, partners, and the wider community, we’re proud to share that the My Manningham Fun Run and Walk 2026 powered by Active Manningham raised $4,452.29 in support of CareNet.
Even more impactful, every dollar raised goes even further. CareNet is able to turns every dollar into $6 worth of food, meaning your support will provide the equivalent of over $26,000 worth of food relief for people in the Manningham and surrounding community.
We were also pleased to have Mayor Jim Grivas join us on the day to officially kick off the Fun Run and Walk.
The impact of the day was felt by everyone involved. Participant Larrie, who took on the 9.6km run, shared how special it was to see so many people come together for a good cause. He said it made him feel part of something bigger, and knowing his run helped put food on people’s plates made the experience even more meaningful.
This simply wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing people behind the scenes and on the day. To all of our volunteers, thank you. Your time, energy, and willingness to help made the event what it was.
A special mention to Coffee at Nola, who generously came along to support the day without hesitation. Not only did they keep everyone fuelled with great coffee, but they also operate as a sustainable, electric coffee van, aligning perfectly with our community-focused values.
