Aquarena Update: Temporary Spa Closure

Please note, a large number of tiles have fallen off in the spa, which is why we want to complete an assessment to ensure the spa is safe for use. Read below for more information and revisit this page to stay up to date with any progress.

What we initially believed would be a straightforward tile repair has turned out to be more complex than first thought, following the discovery of several loose tiles in our spa. For the safety of all members and guests, the spa will remain closed until further notice while we undertake a full structural assessment.

Tilers and engineers have been scheduled to access the area, which will require the spa being drained to complete a thorough investigation. The outcome of this investigation will determine the extent of works required, with an estimated repair timeline of several weeks.

We understand this may be disappointing news to our regular spa users, however we’re committed to supporting members through this period. Two options are available for members:

1. Free Suspension

Members can choose to suspend their membership at no charge, if they do not want to access the centre during this time.

2. One-Off Account Credit
Members who continue to use the gym, pools, and group fitness areas can request a one-off credit of $10 to be applied to their account by speaking with our reception team.

We’ll continue to keep you updated as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your understanding while we work to safely restore this popular area of the facility.

For any questions, please contact us at reception.aquarena@alignedleisure.com.au
