Between Sunday 17 and 22 November 2024, Mullum Mullum Stadium came alive with energy and excitement as the annual ADF Netball Tournament brought together over 340 players from across the nation!
This incredible event saw men’s, women’s, and mixed netball teams from every state and territory come together for a week of intense competition.
The round-robin matches were fiercely contested, with each game bringing a new level of excitement and anticipation. The competition heated up as the week progressed, culminating in an unforgettable finals day on Wednesday. The Canberra women’s team shone brightest, claiming the top honors and celebrating their well-deserved victory!
On Friday, the tournament took on a new dynamic as participants regrouped by their service divisions—Navy, Air Force, and Army. The day began with players getting to know their new teammates before diving into their inter-division matchups. This unique twist added an extra layer of excitement and showcased the versatility, teamwork and adaptability of the players which define the Australian Defence Force.
