National Reconciliation Week- Bridging Now to Next

Active Manningham proudly recognises National Reconciliation Week (NRW) 2025, held from Tuesday 27 May to Tuesday 3 June 2025, under the theme “Bridging Now to Next.”

This year’s theme reflects the ongoing journey of reconciliation and the vital connection between Australia’s past, present, and future. It is a powerful call for all Australians to step forward together – learning from history, acknowledging truth, and shaping a shared path forward.

In the artwork created by Kalkadoon woman Bree Buttenshaw, native plants—known to regenerate after fire—symbolise strength, resilience, and the hope for renewal, much like the journey of reconciliation itself.

At Active Manningham, we are committed to fostering inclusion, respect, and community connection across all our facilities. NRW provides an important opportunity to reflect on the role we play in creating an environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are recognised and celebrated.

We invite our members, staff, and local community to get involved, reflect, and continue the important conversations that support reconciliation in our everyday lives.
