The steam room will be closed for maintenance between Monday 15 July 2024 and Sunday 21 July 2024.

Dear Aquarena Members,

Hope you are keeping warm and active during this winter.

We are committed to maintaining our facility to the highest standards, ensuring that you have the best experience every time you visit. As part of this commitment, we wanted to highlight a few essential maintenance works set to take place.

We have heard your feedback and have scheduled dates for the maintenance work of the Steam Room.

Summary of works

  • Benches removed and new brackets installed
  • Deep clean of the steam room

Steam room closed between

Monday 15 July 2024 – Sunday 21 July 2024

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience during this time. There may be some noise, dust, and other minor disturbances which we will try to minimise.

Update on the Pool Deck staircase
We understand that the Pool Deck stairs have been closed for a while. This is because it has been identified as a potential hazard following a number of reported near misses and injuries that have occurred. We are currently working with our contractors to find a long-term solution. We are committed to implementing effective measures as quickly as possible and will keep you informed of our progress.

Updates on the Pool Deck Tiles and Pool Clock
Due to the continuous wear and tear of the tiles there are spots around pool deck that are worn out and need replacing. We are currently working with specialised contractors to acquire a quote for the works needed.

We have installed a new Clock on pool deck. This took time to implement as we were waiting for suppliers to send over a large clock that is condensation proof.

Update on the Pool temperatures and Spa Jets
Since boiler maintenance was completed, the pool temperatures have been stable and will continue to be monitored every few hours.

We also understand the change in weather can result in the pool hall being exposed to outside elements which may lead to the pool feeling cooler than usual.

The spa jets were replaced this May 2024 and have since been functioning optimally, we have our Plant Room Contractors monitor the system regularly each month.

Suspension during the Steam Room work
We understand that the Steam Room works can be an inconvenience to our members who enjoy spending their time in the Steam Room. If this impacts your experience significantly, please contact us on (03)98480000 to discuss suspension options.
