Two local students, Maya and Olivia, have launched the Kindness Fever Project to encourage simple, everyday acts of kindness among young people. With support from Templestowe Park Primary School, their project includes activities like The Kindness Tub, where students share anonymous compliments, and The Kindness Stones, featuring positive messages placed around the school.
Their project struck a chord with Active Manningham, and we’re proud to help share their message. A4 posters promoting kindness are now displayed throughout Aquarena, and quotes created by Maya and Olivia are being featured in our newsletters to continue spreading their message across the community.

Brighten Someone’s Day With a Simple Act of Kindness
We’ve created an online Kindness Jar to help spread small moments of positivity throughout our community. Instead of pulling a note from a physical jar, you can now click on any box on the page to reveal a random act of kindness. Each prompt has been shared by Maya and Olivia and are easy, meaningful and designed to brighten someone’s day.
Explore the boxes, choose a random act of kindness, and head out to make it happen. Every small action helps build a more supportive and caring community.
