DTSC at the DVE Aquatic SC Qualifying meet

The Doncaster Templestowe Swimming Club had 11 representative swimmers compete the DVE Aquatic SC Qualifying Meet at Greensborough last month.

Our swimmers included Eamon Eng, Samuel Han, Chuen Long Hung, Natasha Kusuma, Gulliver Masters, Charlotte Mays, Amy Southgate, Ilaria Stamp, Ashleigh Tang, Terence Tang and Saya Waldron.

The swimmers enjoyed an impressive personal best rate and the meet proved beneficial for our developing team.
Meanwhile, Terence Tang qualified for the Victorian State Titles in all his events. He also scored a bronze medal in the 2024 Victorian Metro All Junior Competition. Terence clocked 25.86sec to win bronze in the Boys 15 years 50m freestyle event.
DTSC head coach Darren Tullberg said it was pleasing to see the growing number of squad competitors. “We’ve had many kids who have moved from learn-to-swim classes into our Academy group, and we are seeing great improvement in their technique in a short period of time,” Tullberg said. “We will continue to target junior swim meets to prepare our developing swimmers for Victorian competitions – the next one is the Yarra Plenty Waves Short Course Qualifying Meet at Greensborough on June 30.
