Manningham Council, Belgravia Leisure and Aligned Leisure have been working together to minimise any disruption to you and your family when using the facilities and services, but there will be some changes, so we have put together the following information to assist you.
Key information:
- The Swimming Lesson program from 1 July 2023 will be the Swim and Survive program developed by Royal Lifesaving Society of Australia (RLSSA).
- The majority of current centre staff, including swim teachers, have confirmed their employment with Aligned Leisure, so you will see many familiar faces around the centre and in the water.
- All of your customer and membership information will be securely transferred to Aligned Leisure and your membership will continue without interruption. There is no need for you to take any action.
- Your direct debit schedule will move to fortnightly, with the first direct debit commencing 6 July 2023.
- The annual price increase to swimming lessons will occur on 1 July 2023 with your new price listed below.
- Students will still be able to play and swim before, after and on other days as part of their membership.
Direct debit information
- Please be aware, there will be a slightly different payment schedule from 1 July 2023 than you have currently, we have mapped out the process for you below:
- Belgravia Leisure will only collect payments by direct debit for lessons provided up to and including 30 June 2023. Some customers’ payments will likely be a smaller pro-rata portion of their regular payment.
- Aligned Leisure will collect payments by direct debit for lessons from 1 July 2023.
- Your new membership fee will be $22.60 per lesson (or $45.20 per fortnight- 2 lessons) from the 1 July 2023.

A fun and dynamic swimming and water safety program that focuses on the development of swimming, personal survival, basic rescue and lifesaving skills. No. While the transition will see a new curriculum introduced, the skills that students are learning now are transferable between programs meaning there is no need for reassessments.
